Protect International Law
On June 15, 2003, representatives from 5 continents
unanimously voted in support of a complaint
filed at the International Criminal Court
(ICC) in the Hague. This complaint demands an
official investigation into the lies about the war
against Iraq and the pharmaceutical / petrochemical
corporations as the largest benefactors
of this deception.
This complaint was filed by Matthias Rath
M.D. on behalf of the people of the world.
Every person, organization or government in
the world is urged to support this complaint to
stop those actions and bring those responsible
to account.
No More 'Business With War'
While people in America and around the world
demand the truth about the Iraq war - the US
Congress is still hesitant to start an independent
investigation into the lies about Iraq.
The people of the world established the UN’s
International Criminal Court in The Hague,
Netherlands, as a means to prosecute violations
of international law - with the main goal of preventing
future wars. In an attempted cover-up,
the Bush Administration is coercing countries
like Albania and Siera Leone into pacts to render
this important court null and void. If they
succeed, corporations will control the globe
without any accountability.
No More 'Business With Disease'
The petrochemical
and pharmaceutical industries are controlled by the same financial
interests around the Rockefeller group. The
monopoly of the pharmaceutical drug ‘business
with disease’ over decades contributed to the
fact that many of today’s most common diseases
have reached genocidal proportions.
In Nigeria and other developing countries,
hundreds of millions of people suffer from
AIDS and other infectious diseases. The way to
end these epidemics is by using scientifically
proven vitamin therapies and other natural, nonpatentable
remedies as the foundation of
effective and affordable health care.
The People Of Nigeria Decide
Nigeria’s resistance to calls for immunity pacts is a
strong symbol of the part taken by the government
and people in the global fight for social justice,
especially in the developing world.
The most critical task in this battle is to protect
the system of international law, especially the
International Criminal Court. Without them,
multinational corporations will rule the world at
the expense of the health and lives of 6 billion
people today and all future generations.
We are calling upon you to withstand any
pressure by the Bush Administration and become
a leader for the liberation of human health.
Open Letter by Matthias Rath, M.D.
To the Nigerian Government, other Governments
and the People of
the World
DISEASE SLAVERY or HEALTH FREEDOM
At the beginning of the third millennium mankind
stands at the crossroads. On the one hand are the
interests of six billion people currently inhabiting our
planet - and of all future generations - who wish to live
a dignified and healthy life in a peaceful world. On the
other hand is a small corporate interest group denying
the whole of mankind these basic human rights for one
reason only - financial greed.
In this situation, we, the people of the world, have the
choice: we either continue accepting the yoke of those
investment industries forcing wars and diseases upon
us or we liberate ourselves from these burdens and
start building a world determined by the principles of
peace, health and social justice.
We, the people of the world, recognize that never
before in the course of history have we been more
united to preserve peace, to terminate the investment
'business with disease' and to bring to justice those
who sacrifice peace and health for corporate gain.
At the center of this battle is the upholding of the system
of international law created by the United Nations. The
United Nation's International Criminal Court (ICC) in The
Hague has become the focus of this international battle
between the interests of six billion people and the
financial interests of a handful of corporate stakeholders.
Now, US President Bush - the key representative of these
corporate interests - is visiting Nigeria and other African
Nations. With the unlawful war against Iraq they have lost
their credibility worldwide and they are afraid that they
will be held accountable in the ICC, which was
established precisely to protect the people of the world
from abuse.
George Bush and his administration are trying to coerce
the governments of the world to sign mutual immunity
pacts with respect to the ICC - with the ultimate goal to
dismantle international law and establish the unrestrained
power of corporations over humanity.
In this situation, I have filed a complaint at the
International Criminal Court in The Hague on behalf of
the people of the world, demanding that the petrochemical
and pharmaceutical corporate interest group - the most
powerful corporate interest behind the Bush and Blair
administrations - is brought to justice under international
law.
In this historic situation you, President Obasanjo, your
government, the people of Nigeria, as well as the
governments and the people of the world have two
choices: Either we all succumb to the stranglehold of
corporate multinationals - or we resist these plans and
help protect international law.
The most effective way to do so is for your government
and all others to support the complaint I filed at the ICC
on behalf of the people of the world for the crimes against
humanity committed on behalf of the petrochemical and
pharmaceutical corporations.
Not only does this complaint address the crimes against
humanity committed during the war against Iraq, it also
addresses the crimes committed in the ongoing daily ‘war'
against millions of people in Nigeria and around the
world that is being led by the pharmaceutical industry and
their "business with disease" based on patented drugs.
We, the people of the world and our governments either
choose slavery for generations to come under the yoke of
the pharmaceutical cartel, or we liberate human health
from their grip forever. The time to act is now!
Sincerely,

Matthias Rath, M.D. |
