On July 9, 2003, inspired by Dr. Rath’s open letter to President
Mbeki the people of Cape Town mobilized and held a rally to protest against
the arrival of George Bush in South Africa.
The following photo-summary of the event was prepared for the Foundation
by Dr. Anthony Rees:

At 10:00am the people met at the renowned 'District
Six' a place where the Apartheid Government of the old South Africa
forcibly removed black and coloured people from their homes. This
is historically a very sacred place to South Africans - a place of
struggle.

As South Africa has a large Islamic following,
a large Islamic presence was observed.

A great poster which sums up Bush pretty well.

People from all walks of life join the new struggle
in South Africa. This time, its not apartheid it is Neo-Colonialism
and George Bush's 'New World Order'.
